School Introduction

Our school is the first high school established in Taipei after its restructuring into a direct-administered municipality. Planning and construction commenced in July of the 75th year of the Republic, with the admission of the inaugural batch of students on August 1st, 77. Through the dedicated efforts of successive principals and faculty members, we have fostered a culture of democratic openness and vibrant freedom, greatly beloved by students in the greater Taipei area. Due to architectural design and geographical factors making it susceptible to strong winds, the campus has been affectionately referred to as the "City of Winds" since its establishment.

Nestled amidst verdant hills and picturesque valleys, our campus exudes elegance, with buildings harmonizing in green and white, a sight to behold. In terms of external advantages, the completion and operation of the Wenhu Line subway have significantly enhanced the convenience of transportation to our school. Internally, our school boasts a faculty with high academic qualifications, imbued with love, enthusiasm, and patience, fostering a respectful and professional atmosphere. The harmonious relationship between teachers and students in this environment is one of our exemplary school cultures, and the academic performance of students in this learning environment is particularly gratifying. Under the collaborative efforts of successive principals in advancing school affairs, we have been honored with the Taipei City Excellent School Awards for the "Student Learning" and "Teacher Teaching" dimensions in the 98th and 100th academic years. In the 99th academic year, we were further certified as a "111 Benchmark School" by Taipei City, and in the 101st year, we received recognition as a "Quality High School" from the Ministry of Education. In the 108th academic year, we were honored with the Taipei City Excellent School Award for the "Administrative Management" dimension, and in the 109th academic year, for the "School Leadership" dimension, reflecting our progressive development year by year and laying the foundation for a high-quality learning environment at Neihu High School.

In response to students' learning needs, we have successively established school-specific curriculum classes: the "Visionary Information Development Curriculum Class," the "International Talent Cultivation Curriculum Class," and the "Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Development Curriculum Class," establishing distinctive school curriculum to nurture the talents of junior high school students.

Two other distinctive features of our school are international education and experiential learning. We conduct annual international educational exchange activities and volunteer services, reaching countries such as Japan, South Korea, Singapore, the United States, Finland, Thailand, and Africa. Internally, we integrate sister school visits and international education curriculum into our school, stimulating students' international perspectives and humanistic concerns. In the 107th academic year, we were honored with the Taipei City International School Award. In recent years, in response to the rapid changes of the information age and to enhance students' learning efficiency, teachers have actively developed courses through experiential learning. Since the 105th academic year, we have continuously received awards such as the Special Award, Excellence Award, and Outstanding Teacher Award.

To realize the school's vision, our school has actively sought funding to construct high-quality campus facilities, providing various resources to support teachers in revitalizing their teaching methods. With the implementation of the 108th curriculum, we have demonstrated professional development among teachers and diversified student performances, embodying the spirit of mutual benefit between teachers and students!
